Brooklyn SolarWorks is a residential solar developer based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. We are always looking for fun, energetic and passionate solar advocates to join the team be it in a short term or long term arrangement.
Depending on your qualifications we will consider you for a paid or unpaid internship.
This is a great opportunity to become familiar with solar policy, lead generation, sales, product pricing, system components, the solar permitting process, the installation process, as well as experience in building a business, CRM platforms and much, much more.

Neighborhood Organizer
Brooklyn SolarWorks is a residential solar developer based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. We are always looking for fun, energetic and passionate solar advocates to join the team be it in a short term or long term arrangement.
Brooklyn SolarWorks is seeking to hire neighborhood organizers to help build its Solar For Brooklyn campaign throughout the summer. Devoted to increasing awareness and creating pathways to solar opportunities for all New Yorkers, BSW’s Solar For Brooklyn campaign is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to engage in the development of New York’s renewable future at its most granular level.
Organizers will be responsible for building relationships with community members and setting appointments with homeowners to evaluate the solar potential of their home. The ideal applicant is comfortable communicating high-level information on the benefits of solar power and knowledgeable about community dynamics of Brooklyn neighborhoods. No prior experience in solar is required although preferred.

Solar Project Design Specialist
Solar Project Design Specialist wanted by solar energy equipment installation company for job in Brooklyn, NY. Required Bachelor's degree in solar energy; minimum 1 year experience designing solar energy project; must be a Registered Class 2 Code and Zoning Representative; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Skech Up; and knowledge of engery conservation, fire safety and builidng codes in City an State of New York.
